Zillertal Regional Museum in Zell am Ziller

The Regional Museum provides information on the life and work of our ancestors.

The "Ental" farmhouse was built in 1713 in Burgstall/Schwendau. In 1991 it was decided to dismantle it at its original location and to rebuilt it in Zell am Ziller to run the house as a museum in order to keep it from destruction. Since the start of construction the museum grew continuously: In the hay barn, the "Tennen", a workshop, the "Machkammer", with tools from the old time was set up. Furthermore, a chapel, an oven, a fountain and a burning hut was built and a garden was created.
